Supporting the Center

The Silicon Valley Shambhala Center remains open due entirely to the generosity of its Members, Friends, and program participants. Here are three options for helping to sustain this center.
Membership involves joining a community committed to cultivating mindfulness, awareness and compassion personally and in society. It is a commitment to exploring the path of a Shambhala Buddhist practitioner. Payment of membership dues is the financial backbone of our center. The amount of dues is adjustable based on what you can afford.

Friends of the center provide support through their program participation and regular financial contributions. Exploration of the Shambhala Buddhist path is welcomed and encouraged, but there is no expectation of commitment to this path. The amount of dues is adjustable based on what you can afford.

For newcomers and occasional participants, we are grateful for your attendance and participation. Attending group sittings is a way to help ourselves and to contribute to the practice of others. The more we fill the Shambhala Center with meditation, the more powerful and magnetizing it will become for others. If you can make a one-time or recurring donation, the center would be most appreciative.
